Base Salary
$197k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and architect the cloud-native Stream Governance platform.
- Own and lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex backend services.
- Drive projects from requirements and design through implementation and operation.
- Make architecture and technical decisions balancing reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Solve complicated technical projects and provide specialized guidance to the team.
- Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of the platform's technology stack.
- Manage and maintain a mission-critical service with a 99.99 SLA across multiple regions.
- Partner with engineering and stakeholders to execute the roadmap for the Data Streaming Platform.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high technical standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience in designing and operating backend systems.
- Deep proficiency in at least one major backend programming language.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Strong experience running production services in a public cloud environment.
- Expertise in cloud-native technology and experience with on-call rotations.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
