Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and evolve scalable automated testing frameworks and infrastructure.
- Build automated test suites and reporting solutions for front-end and back-end components.
- Transform manual test coverage into maintainable, high-value automated coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium Grid, Docker, and related tools.
- Test APIs, integrations, JSON/XML payloads, relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms.
- Work as an embedded Quality Engineer to influence design, improve testability, and support quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, product management, and leadership to communicate risk and advocate for quality.
- Use AI tools to improve test generation, code quality, analysis, and productivity.
- Stay current with automated testing trends and independently navigate complex vendor API documentation.
- Support distributed teams and critical releases across time zones.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test with hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with modern testing frameworks and tools such as Node.js, Angular, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium, or PyTest.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages, with the ability to write maintainable production-quality test code.
- Experience transforming manual test coverage into sustainable automated test suites.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as an embedded Quality Engineer.
- Exposure to iPaaS, SaaS, or cloud-based platforms and understanding of distributed systems and integrations.
- Hands-on experience testing REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML payloads, relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms.
- Experience with Postman, Jenkins, Docker, VirtualBox or Hyper-V, npm or yarn, JMeter, JIRA, GitHub, and related DevOps tooling.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for test generation, code quality, analysis, or productivity.
- Strong technical curiosity, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills, including experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
- Willingness to flex working hours when needed for cross-time-zone collaboration and critical releases.
