Responsibilities
- Build successful relationships with clients in an assigned territory in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to support adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Develop reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
- Lead customer workshops, seminars, and meet-ups and help build the Databricks community in the region.
- Develop expertise as a technical or industry specialist.
Requirements
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
- Proficiency with big data analytics technologies and hands-on experience delivering complex proofs of concept.
- Experience with public cloud platforms.
- Experience discovering use cases, scoping solutions, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with varying technical depth.
- Ability to communicate technical and business value propositions and build customer relationships.
