Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project members, solving complex technical challenges and building relationships with senior client technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and other user-facing teams to drive customer engagement, wins, and Professional Services revenue.
- Plan and execute integrations end-to-end, from high-level architecture through code implementation.
- Explain Stripe products and API architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Educate users and the developer community about Stripe best practices, value, and technical developments.
- Serve as the primary ongoing technical contact for the technical teams of major users and partners.
- Represent technical thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and industry events.
- Provide recommendations, feedback, and best practices to product and engineering teams.
- Contribute to Professional Services methodologies and tools that accelerate engagements and simplify troubleshooting.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in architecture, technical consulting, process re-engineering, application delivery, or technical engineering.
- Experience with code-level debugging of Stripe and customer code.
- Experience with enterprise systems, middleware, third-party API integrations, systems flows, data and business object modeling, and use-case or user-interface production.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and technical communication skills.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Ability to accommodate light quarterly travel for customer on-sites and team meetings.
- Preferred: superior time management for managing multiple external customers simultaneously.
- Preferred: ability to independently assess, troubleshoot, decompose, and solve complex problems.
- Preferred: willingness to learn and teach others.
