Responsibilities
- Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
- Advise customers on architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and the business value of MongoDB solutions.
- Own technical sales activities including discovery, demonstrations, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation.
- Partner with sales teams on account planning, opportunity prioritization, qualification, pipeline generation, and multi-threaded account strategies.
- Generate demand through technical initiatives, industry trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
- Build customer relationships, develop champions, and drive customer success and satisfaction.
- Provide field feedback to the product team and mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
- Maintain product and industry expertise through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
- Ideally 8–11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role, including a minimum of 3 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Ability to review complex application architectures and recommend improvements using technology.
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, customer advisory, and technical/business explanation skills.
- Ability to strategize with sales teams and align internal and ecosystem resources around account plans.
- Business-level fluency in Thai and English.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred qualifications include database sales or deployment experience with major cloud providers, database programming and data modeling, data engineering or AI/ML projects, legacy modernization, MongoDB or cloud provider certification, and familiarity with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
