Base Salary
$173k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, operate, and own incident response for the bank's core technical surfaces.
- Set and improve code review and design standards to enhance team effectiveness.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance code quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, including integration and operations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit to ensure compliance.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and runbooks for system reliability.
- Communicate technical strategies and constraints to non-engineering stakeholders.
- Mentor new engineers and help establish engineering practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of ownership.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions quickly.
- Experience in a lean engineering culture with a focus on simplicity.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and a drive to leverage them.
- Strong systems thinking across cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
- Experience in regulated environments with examiner-facing documentation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
