Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform recurring security evaluations and code audits across web, Android, and iOS applications and drive remediation to completion.
- Conduct search architecture reviews, code-level security audits, and feature-level threat assessments.
- Build and maintain threat models for web and mobile products and client-facing AI capabilities, including third-party integrations, agentic features, and client-side data privacy.
- Develop secure-by-default client libraries, SDKs, and templates for product developers.
- Participate in rotational security operations on-call coverage, vulnerability triage, bug bounty submission evaluation, and application security incident response.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of coding experience in general-purpose programming languages.
- Five years of application security engineering experience in areas such as web application security, mobile client security, web API security, or client-side cryptography.
- Five years of security operations experience, such as vulnerability management, bug bounty triage, penetration testing, red team engagement, or operational incident handling.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD, technical leadership experience, modern web and mobile OS security expertise, automated scanning, static and dynamic code analysis, fuzzing, on-call operations, live security escalation management, and incident response collaboration.
