Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance scalable backend microservices using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Participate in software programming initiatives and code reviews.
- Develop software validation and testing methods using JUnit and Katalon.
- Prototype and deploy solutions within cloud-based platforms using platform services.
- Support the software development lifecycle and coordinate with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
- Document software development work and deploy build artifacts across environments using GitHub, Jenkins, Python, Bash, and related tools.
- Apply software development best practices and create solutions for customer technical needs.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and software development practices.
- Familiarity with Java design patterns and implementing APIs.
- Familiarity with DevOps toolsets and practices.
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and cloud data services such as S3, RDS, and EFS.
- Familiarity with version control and issue or problem tracking systems.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with the Spring Framework, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, JUnit, Python, Bash, software testing performance tools, and SAFe development practices.
