Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of payment technology solutions.
- Drive architecture reviews and technical decisions for strategic initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership for SWIFT, ISO 20022, payment messaging, and integration platforms.
- Partner with infrastructure, network, cloud, security, and application teams to improve resiliency and availability.
- Lead incident analysis, root-cause investigations, and remediation for critical production issues.
- Oversee technical project delivery in accordance with security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Mentor engineers and developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners on technical challenges and platform modernization.
- Support audit, regulatory, and operational risk management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of technology experience, including 3–5 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong experience with payments, SWIFT messaging, financial services technology, or financial messaging platforms.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, middleware, messaging platforms, APIs, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with large-scale technology transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Experience with operational resilience, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influence skills.
- Azure cloud platform experience preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, site reliability engineering, and observability tools.
- Financial services industry experience strongly preferred.
- Willingness to learn and support Swift network interface software applications, including Linux, cloud-hosted, and legacy Tandem applications.
