Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud platform infrastructure for internal projects and workloads.
- Implement observability and alerting solutions to monitor platform health and troubleshoot complex networks.
- Design security policies and processes for the cloud platform.
- Consult with teams and migrate existing projects to a centralized network.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code repositories to support high-quality production code.
- Support and maintain infrastructure across multiple teams and help workloads run efficiently, securely, and with high availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of cloud engineering experience.
- Strong AWS experience and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and best practices.
- Experience transforming on-site hardware and software configurations into cloud-native solutions.
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Preferred experience with hybrid cloud solutions, Terraform, VPNs, zero-trust VPNs, and cloud-based SecOps.
- Strong communication, collaboration, self-direction, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
- Base salary range of 110,000 - 150,000 CAD, plus equity and benefits.
- The position is a new role, with base salary determined by location, experience, and internal benchmarks.
