Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure across Azure and on-premise environments with a focus on Linux.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines to automate infrastructure deployments.
- Support the company’s largest application and its integrations with multiple internal systems.
- Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Check_MK.
- Define and implement security and infrastructure standards.
- Optimize infrastructure costs and usage with cost management tools.
- Manage and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, network, and application layers.
- Contribute to DevOps process improvements and communicate with customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud infrastructure role.
- Hands-on Linux administration experience and proficiency with scripting languages including Bash and Python.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture, including subscriptions, resource groups, computing, networking, and load balancers.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- English proficiency in written and spoken communication.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
- Understanding of cost, security, and performance optimization in Azure and Linux environments is desirable.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment and communicating with customers is desirable.
