Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on functional, integration, regression, performance, load, upgrade, and automated testing across investment technology systems.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid test automation frameworks.
- Test integrations and solutions spanning order management, investment operations, treasury, book-of-record, and related business systems.
- Integrate automated testing into DevSecOps delivery models and CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot defects using logs and system feeds, generate test reports, and communicate application quality status.
- Drive consistent testing practices, tool usage, automation, AI usage, release quality, and system availability across QA teams.
- Lead testing requirements, test strategy, estimates, QA test plans, and delivery alignment for projects.
- Mentor and lead offshore QA team members on testing practices, automation, troubleshooting, AI, and project delivery.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and build partnerships with business and technology stakeholders.
- Research technology trends and identify and implement improvements to testing processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent training or industry experience.
- 10+ years of experience in testing, SDET, quality engineering, or technical test leadership, including at least three years leading or mentoring junior testers or quality engineers.
- Hands-on expertise with functional testing, test automation, automation frameworks, debugging, performance testing, load testing, and troubleshooting application defects.
- Experience with TestComplete, ReadyAPI, JMeter, Playwright, QuerySurge, Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, and related scripting languages or AI tools.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid automation frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated testing into DevSecOps and CI/CD environments using GIT, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CloudBees, or related platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile teams, sprint planning, software development lifecycle activities, test planning, regression testing, implementation, and production readiness.
- Practical knowledge of AKS, C#/.NET frameworks, Python, SQL, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Airflow, GIT, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CloudBees, and web service architecture dependencies.
- Ability to lead testing requirements, prioritize assignments, estimate work, create QA test plans, guide strategy, and align testing with project timelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, reporting, stakeholder management, organizational, and continuous-learning skills.
- Investment domain knowledge and understanding of the investment lifecycle and operations are strong assets.
