Base Salary
$125k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered platform tooling that identifies recurring operational work, automates repetitive tasks, and recommends long-term engineering improvements.
- Create an internal developer platform with a software catalog, service ownership model, and engineering portal.
- Build developer-experience workflows, automation, and self-service infrastructure that reduce cognitive load and improve onboarding.
- Use LLMs and AI agents to automate platform operations, incident response, documentation, engineering support, and developer workflows.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify platform gaps, improve reliability, and build scalable infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience building platform engineering, developer infrastructure, DevEx, SRE, or internal tooling.
- Experience as an early engineering hire or founder, or experience building and shipping meaningful side projects from scratch.
- Strong systems thinking and a passion for improving engineering productivity through tooling and automation.
- Experience building with LLMs, AI agents, and agentic workflows to solve engineering problems.
- Comfort working across infrastructure, backend systems, and developer tooling.
- Resourcefulness and comfort operating in a high-agency, fast-moving environment.
