Base Salary
$152k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Accelerate customer time-to-value for large AI infrastructure and HPC workloads in Google Public Sector.
- Build trusted advisory relationships with customer architects, engineering leaders, and research teams.
- Identify customer priorities and technical objections and develop strategies using Google AI Infrastructure and the HPC ecosystem.
- Provide expertise on GPU/TPU accelerators, ML frameworks, benchmarks, and model-building techniques.
- Recommend GPU/TPU hardware, framework selections, benchmarks, and model-building approaches for complete solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical questions, conduct proofs of concept and demos, and architect cross-pillar Google Cloud solutions.
- Define delivery and consumption plans, drive technical wins, and support new business workloads.
- Manage research engineering relationships by collaborating with specialists, product management, and technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience engaging with or presenting to technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- Experience with ML model development and deployment.
- Active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Preferred: experience with Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Preferred: experience with GPU- and TPU-based infrastructure.
- Preferred: familiarity with Slurm, vLLM, Ray, Vertex, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: familiarity with the AI software development lifecycle, including data processing, model building, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Preferred: ability to deliver results and orchestrate solutions consisting of multiple products.
Benefits
- US base salary of $152000-$221000, plus a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Travel up to 20% of the time is required.
