Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software components for secure, stable, and scalable technology products.
  • Write high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
  • Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when developing solutions.
  • Apply technical troubleshooting to solve problems of basic complexity.
  • Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and productivity improvements.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding standards, and responsible data handling.
  • Gather and analyze large, diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.
  • Apply Software Development Life Cycle processes, methodologies, and skills.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Java, SQL, Kafka, and AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
