Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java and Python.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure backend architectures.
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide production support and handle ad hoc engineering tasks, including script writing.
- Perform vulnerability management activities, including identifying, triaging, tracking, and supporting remediation of security issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to system performance tuning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
- Understanding of scalable backend systems, performance, reliability, and security best practices.
- Experience handling operational and ad hoc technical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of vulnerability management and secure development practices.
- Strong scripting and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: knowledge of big data and distributed systems, exposure to data processing frameworks and large-scale data pipelines, and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
- Preferred AWS Certified Developer Associate certification.
