Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software and systems containing logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and systems engineers on electronic data processing systems.
- Analyze user needs and system capabilities, resolve software problems, and prepare operating instructions.
- Develop software utilities, compilers, assemblers, and operating-system components as applicable.
- Ensure software standards are met and participate in embedded software, DevOps, automation, integration, and testing activities.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
- Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related STEM field.
- Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and program special access.
- Preferred qualifications include a cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher, presentation and communication experience, emerging-technology experience, complex-project experience, and familiarity with listed programming, embedded-systems, testing, and engineering tools.
