Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end system features spanning user experience, frontend components, backend code, and database layers.
- Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and perform PostgreSQL performance tuning.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, contribute to key technical decisions, and provide solutions across teams.
- Lead coordination of development activities to support timely project milestone delivery.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, help manage the team, and make team decisions.
- Mentor junior team members and facilitate communication between cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to database and application layers.
- Work with cloud-based environments and deployment strategies.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in PostgreSQL is required.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL is required.
- Experience designing and optimizing database schemas for scalable applications.
- Strong knowledge of backend development principles and integration with frontend components.
- Ability to write efficient queries and tune performance for complex database operations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments and deployment strategies.
- Competence troubleshooting database- and application-layer technical issues.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
