Responsibilities
- Contribute to QAD implementation, development, and maintenance projects while managing work packets and deliveries through the team.
- Support European business operations by implementing, configuring, customizing, and maintaining QAD functionality.
- Plan, manage, and govern day-to-day team activities using agile ways of working.
- Coordinate with QAD teams, functional leaders, and technical owners of other applications including CRM, WMS, and data warehouse systems.
- Contribute to business process changes and optimization initiatives.
- Act as the gatekeeper for transitioning project work into ongoing support.
- Ensure quality and documentation for projects handed over to support.
- Mentor and technically and functionally guide team members.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience working with QAD and Mfg/Pro, including at least seven years with a QAD Enterprise Edition version.
- At least five years of experience mentoring and technically and functionally guiding teams.
- Broad QAD knowledge, especially in manufacturing-related functional areas.
- Hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Edition and configuring QAD to meet business needs.
- Experience collaborating with functional leaders, QAD development teams, and technical teams.
- Experience with Scrum or agile ways of working.
- Basic Progress OpenEdge programming skills.
- Analytical problem-solving ability and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare or manufacturing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Excelerator, EDI maps, Qxtend, and QRF is a value-add.
