Responsibilities
- Design, implement, debug, document, review, test, and support software and automation solutions.
- Drive platform reliability through production troubleshooting, on-call support, postmortems, and root cause analysis.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code for consistent, scalable, and repeatable deployments.
- Perform monitoring, deployment automation, security hardening, auditing, and configuration management.
- Collaborate across software development and infrastructure operations to improve system performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–4 years of recent Linux/Unix administration experience.
- 3–4 years of scripting experience using technologies such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows, binary management, GitHub Cloud, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with Git, Git LFS, Docker images and containers, configuration management, networking, DNS, and reverse proxy systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, including EC2, RDS, ELB, and EKS.
- Preferred experience administering and securing Enterprise JFrog Artifactory, GitHub, or Jenkins.
- Preferred 2+ years of production Kubernetes application deployment experience and recent Linux/Unix administration, particularly with RedHat systems.
- Preferred experience troubleshooting Oracle or PostgreSQL performance bottlenecks and optimizing query efficiency and system throughput.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools and workflows for automation, code quality, and troubleshooting.
