Responsibilities
- Evaluate and evolve the current web stack built on WordPress and Gutenberg.
- Design reusable infrastructure, templates, and workflows for the marketing team.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to create scalable web solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical approaches balancing speed and performance.
- Embed AI tools into workflows to enhance web production efficiency.
- Scope and estimate work, communicate timelines, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure the website is performant, responsive, accessible, and secure.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (modern ES), and React.
- Experience with headless or API-driven architectures and WordPress.
- Demonstrated ability to change web team operations and manage architectural shifts.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and their application in web production.
- Experience in building for scale with component libraries and documentation.
- Strong project management skills and effective communication across disciplines.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of providing options and recommendations.
