Base Salary
$244k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with strategic customers on feature flag implementations from pre-sales technical validation through post-sales delivery.
- Consult on flag architecture and implementation approaches for complex, multi-service, multi-platform, and high-scale environments.
- Build prototype and production flag implementations directly in customer codebases.
- Implement feature flags across server-side, client-side, edge, mobile, streaming, and real-time deployment modes.
- Drive legacy-system migrations and cutovers to completion with minimal customer engineering burden.
- Identify implementation patterns and provide feedback to Product and Engineering on product gaps, edge cases, and tooling.
- Collaborate with Sales and Solutions to accelerate deal cycles by reducing technical risk.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience and hands-on coding ability across deployed customer stacks.
- Experience with feature flagging, experimentation, or configuration management systems.
- Ability to quickly work in unfamiliar codebases, languages, and frameworks without a prescribed technology stack.
- Experience shipping production software rather than only prototypes.
- Customer-facing experience or strong motivation to work directly with customer engineers.
- Ability to explain complex technical tradeoffs to engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
- Experience operating with ambiguity and owning outcomes across architecture, implementation, migrations, and customer success.
