Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full-stack solutions with Python or Python and Java on the backend and JavaScript on the frontend.
- Build responsive user interfaces and integrate them with backend services and APIs.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and application components.
- Own technical solutions from requirements analysis and architecture through implementation and deployment.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL structures, queries, functions, triggers, and views.
- Use AI-powered development tools and explore AI-driven automation to improve engineering efficiency and code quality.
- Build prototypes, validate technical concepts, and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in technical planning, solution design, testing, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Collaborate with international cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Promote clean code, maintainability, automation, and modern software development practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial software engineering experience, preferably in full-stack or backend-oriented roles.
- Strong commercial experience with Python.
- Practical JavaScript and frontend development experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, frontend-backend integration, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong PostgreSQL experience, including database design, query optimization, indexes, views, functions, and triggers.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and clean code practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD processes, version control systems, and modern software development practices.
- Advanced written and spoken English for international collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving, independence, ownership, scalability, performance, and maintainability focus.
- Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Linux, TypeScript, modern frontend architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, AI agents, or architectural design is preferred.
