Responsibilities
- Maintain software development processes, standards, and best practices for consistent delivery of high-quality software.
- Promote engineering excellence through analysis tools, control gates, peer reviews, and improvements to design, productivity, and quality.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, models, and methods and drive relevant adoption within the squad.
- Optimize the engineering lifecycle through knowledge management and continuous learning.
- Mentor and guide engineers and assist with technical challenges.
- Take technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development and drive software construction activities.
- Contribute to organizational software development policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Support hiring, internal movements, succession planning, talent reviews, and talent pipeline development.
- Help prioritize and reduce technical debt across products and platforms.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, product vitality assessments, architecture documentation, and platform validation.
Requirements
- Any technical graduation, such as engineering or computer science, is required.
- Expert-level full-stack development experience is required.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Oracle, RHEL Linux, REST services, database design, responsive web design, dependency injection, data access and persistence, and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with BDD, TDD, Cucumber, unit and integration testing, web accessibility, web security, SAST and DAST tools, content management systems, message queuing systems, application architecture, containers, and microservices.
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, C, OAuth, Identity Server, Azure Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Skills in configuration management, release readiness, technical documentation, process/data/system engineering, lifecycle management, analytical problem solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous learning.
