Responsibilities
- Partner with logistics teams to understand workflows and translate requirements into system designs.
- Build AI-powered full-stack tools using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate enterprise systems, APIs, event queues, and file-transfer systems.
- Build reliable data pipelines for information from multiple sources.
- Maintain backend infrastructure and own work from design through deployment.
- Help shape product direction and technical decisions with the engineering team.
- Iterate based on customer feedback and travel regularly to customer sites in Europe and Asia.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills.
- Experience designing APIs, integrating external and enterprise systems, and building data pipelines.
- Experience building and maintaining backend infrastructure using tools such as Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS.
- Clear communication skills and experience working directly with customers or end users.
- Interest or experience in logistics, supply chain, AI/LLM architectures, or early-stage environments is beneficial.
- Willingness to work hybrid from Berlin and travel regularly to customer sites.
