Responsibilities

  • Create, design, maintain, automate, and execute functional and non-functional tests.
  • Develop and enhance test automation frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD/CT pipelines.
  • Analyze requirements, designs, architectures, and proposed end-to-end solutions to develop in-scope tests.
  • Create and maintain automated and manual test suites, test data, traceability matrices, and defect records.
  • Perform mobile, web, and API automation using Appium, Selenium, and REST Assured.
  • Define test data and environment requirements and use service virtualization for incomplete or unavailable dependencies.
  • Analyze and report test results, provide development feedback, and support defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done/Ready.
  • Apply BDD and TDD principles and provide reporting and analytics on quality, performance, user experience, and defect prevention.
  • Support proof-of-concepts and evaluate testing technologies, tools, and engineering practices.
  • Document test solution designs, update knowledge bases, and identify early automation opportunities.
  • Manage risks, decisions, lessons learned, project documentation, milestones, and quality standards.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing, cross-training, communities of interest, and team development activities.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing using industry-standard tools.
  • Strong knowledge of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, collections, and exception handling.
  • Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile application automation and Selenium for web automation.
  • Experience with the Cucumber framework for managing and executing test cases.
  • Experience with REST Assured for API testing and automation.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira and JTMF.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into test scenarios.
  • Basic knowledge of Jenkins, Git, and version control systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with proxy tools such as Charles and WireMock is preferred.
  • Knowledge of coding, testing, debugging, automated scripting, quality engineering frameworks, and technology tools.
  • Hands-on debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate potential solutions.
  • Ability to own tasks, drive work efforts, and estimate and prioritize medium to moderately complex activities.
  • Collaborative teamwork, communication, knowledge-sharing, and foundational knowledge of TD business systems and standards.
