Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build distributed systems powered by LLMs and multimodal machine-learning models.
- Develop high-precision product classification and catalog identity solutions across marketplaces and languages.
- Process continuous incoming product traffic using ensembles of machine-learning models and techniques.
- Build applications that analyze product composition and mine image, text, and unstructured product signals.
- Partner with scientists in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and artificial intelligence.
- Design, build, scale, and operate production systems supporting Amazon catalog, search, personalization, and selling-partner services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred experience includes productionizing LLM and multimodal ML systems in areas such as generative AI, prompt engineering, classification systems, clustering, natural language processing, search, personalization, streaming infrastructure, or MLOps.

- The position is based in Seattle, Washington, and the stated base salary is $143,700 to $194,400 annually; additional compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
