Base Salary
$115k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance OIGChat and pilot AI applications using model routing architectures, API patterns, prompt handling, and approved AI services.
- Implement AI guardrails, safety controls, logging, model access patterns, validation frameworks, and secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and ensure quality outputs.
- Build AI/ML pipelines using governed enterprise datasets with data lineage, quality, compliance, versioning, monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Develop AI-assisted investigative capabilities for trend identification, anomaly detection, link analysis, pattern recognition, eDiscovery, translation, transcription, and specialized analytics.
- Prototype and test AI approaches against limited datasets before enterprise implementation and create prompting guidance, workflows, demonstrations, troubleshooting guides, and training content.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, data engineers, platform teams, and security specialists within an Agile delivery framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 12 years, 21 years with no degree, or an associate degree and 17 years; equivalencies are considered.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing AI/ML applications with deep expertise in large language models, generative AI, and prompt engineering.
- Production experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI services, or equivalent enterprise AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Experience designing secure, governed AI solutions with guardrails, validation, monitoring, and enterprise data-platform integration.
- Preferred experience includes federal, law enforcement, investigative, or national security AI applications and sensitive-data handling.
- Preferred experience includes RAG architectures, vector databases, semantic search, knowledge graphs, NLP, text analytics, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, or investigative analytics.
