Responsibilities

  • Lead customer discovery workshops, technical assessments, architecture workshops, and technical design sessions.
  • Design and deliver enterprise Nutanix Kubernetes Platform environments across Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere, bare-metal, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Define networking, ingress, persistent storage, security, high availability, and production container workload architectures.
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms, including upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, maintenance, workload migrations, and customer onboarding.
  • Build Infrastructure as Code and GitOps workflows using Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
  • Develop automation using NKP, hypervisor, and cloud APIs to improve deployment consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Implement RBAC, Network Policies, and Policy-as-Code with OPA/Gatekeeper across multi-tenant Kubernetes environments.
  • Design monitoring, logging, and observability solutions; troubleshoot complex platform issues and optimize cluster performance and reliability.
  • Mentor consultants and develop reusable service enablement kits, automation scripts, GitOps assets, reference architectures, implementation playbooks, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
  • Experience in customer-facing consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success, or technical advisory roles delivering enterprise infrastructure, cloud, or platform solutions.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere, or equivalent virtualization platforms.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, operations, and platform management, including strong understanding of Cluster API for declarative cluster lifecycle management.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, Argo CD, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar automation technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, DNS, LDAP, SSL/TLS, ingress controllers, persistent storage, load balancing, disaster recovery, and CLI/API-based troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to lead customer workshops, facilitate architecture discussions, manage technical stakeholders, mentor consultants, and drive customer outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including experience authoring HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, migration strategies, and operational runbooks.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, service mesh technologies, Organizational Change Management, or relevant industry certifications.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
