Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-grade agentic AI systems and scalable enterprise platforms on Azure.
- Architect AI pipelines using Azure OpenAI, vector search, tool-calling patterns, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel.
- Define REST API, JSON schema, event-based, and message-based integration standards.
- Lead the evolution of solutions from MVP to productized platforms through refactoring, hardening, and non-functional requirements.
- Deploy and oversee Azure infrastructure including AKS, App Service, and Azure Functions.
- Define runbooks, SLIs/SLOs, logging, monitoring, tracing, evaluation, and quality assurance practices with DevOps/SRE teams.
- Evaluate emerging agent frameworks and patterns such as MCP and A2A.
- Document architectures and facilitate collaborative design sessions with distributed teams.
- Support platform reuse and versioning across products and contribute to incident management and post-mortems.
Requirements
- At least one end-to-end production AI or agentic system delivered on Azure.
- Deep understanding of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, vector search, and tool-calling architectures.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain and/or Semantic Kernel and LangSmith or equivalent tooling.
- Experience with productionizing MVPs, refactoring, hardening, and addressing non-functional requirements.
- Hands-on deployment experience with AKS, App Service, Azure Functions, or equivalent Azure services.
- Experience defining runbooks, SLIs/SLOs, logging, monitoring, and production operations with DevOps, SRE, or operations teams.
- Familiarity with MCP and A2A and demonstrated experimentation in real workflows.
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, JSON schema definition, and event/message-based architecture patterns.
- Daily working proficiency with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jira; exposure to ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
- Ability to document complex architectures and lead collaborative design sessions using tools such as Visio, Figma, Mural, or Miro.
- Experience operating in multi-program environments with shared, reusable, and versioned platform components.
