Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, stakeholders, architects, designers, QA teams, and UAT teams to understand requirements and user stories.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, objectives, scopes, and success criteria.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke/sanity, integration, Salesforce functionality, and customization testing across Sandbox, UAT, and Production environments.
- Manage defects and document test execution logs, results, deviations, and issue status.
- Test Salesforce configuration, Lightning applications, standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, tabs, reports, dashboards, automation, and security settings.
- Use the Salesforce Developer Console and SOQL queries, and support data management with Data Loader and Import Wizard.
- Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and QA-driven process improvement.
- Analyze customer business needs, translate them into requirements, develop use cases and process flow charts, and prepare presentations and change tracking documentation.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in Salesforce quality assurance and application testing.
- Strong Salesforce QA testing experience with functional, regression, smoke/sanity, and integration testing.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Configuration and Setup, Object Manager, Lightning App Builder, Salesforce Security, automation rules, profiles, and analytics management.
- Experience testing Salesforce Lightning apps, standard and custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, custom tabs, reports, and other Salesforce components.
- Understanding of Flows, Process Builder, workflow rules, validation rules, organization security settings, OWD, sharing rules, profiles, and permission sets.
- Understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CRM functionality, and Salesforce integrations.
- Understanding of the Salesforce Developer Console and SOQL queries, plus Data Loader and Import Wizard.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, documentation, stakeholder interaction, and business analysis skills.
- Experience working with Agile software development and Scrum processes.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification, Salesforce App Builder certification, or another cloud certification is identified.
- Exposure to automated testing using Selenium, CRT, or another relevant test automation tool is preferred.
- Middleware experience is a good-to-have qualification.
