Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
- Build high-performance applications and performance-critical modules for low-latency trading environments.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and implement performance optimization solutions.
- Participate in requirements gathering, system design, and technical implementation.
- Contribute to scalable and resilient system architecture.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Handle large volumes of real-time market data and order processing streams efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients, product teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver client-focused solutions.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in C++ application development.
- Strong proficiency in C++, including STL containers and algorithms.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with modern C++ standards, including C++11, C++14, C++17, and C++20.
- Strong knowledge of templating and dynamic polymorphism.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, and multicast networking.
- Experience with Linux-based development environments.
- Experience handling real-time market data and order management systems.
- Familiarity with FIX Protocol.
- Experience with Python for scripting or tooling.
- Exposure to low-latency or high-frequency trading systems.
- Strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
