Responsibilities
- Own cloud and platform engineering, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, availability, scalability, and performance.
- Design and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and SLO/SLI frameworks for system health and reliability.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and repeatable software delivery.
- Define the long-term architecture and technical roadmap for Catapult’s global cloud platform.
- Establish reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns and platform standards or “Golden Paths” for engineering teams.
- Embed cloud security, AppSec controls, vulnerability scanning, compliance auditing, and security guardrails into platform services and delivery pipelines.
- Manage hybrid environments spanning traditional data centers, on-premises services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead cross-functional technical improvements and influence engineering, security, and finance stakeholders.
Requirements
- Significant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering, including technical leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in AWS and associated cloud security and compliance practices.
- Strong experience with infrastructure automation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
- Proven experience redesigning platforms and architecting new cloud infrastructure based on software and business requirements.
- Solid understanding of application security and integrating security controls into build and deployment pipelines.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks including SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
