Base Salary
$143k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery for named institutional partners from architecture and requirements through working implementation.
- Design solutions across node and validator setup, failover, interoperability, networking, security controls, and the broader Avalanche stack.
- Pair with Enterprise Go-to-Market on proofs of concept and translate commercial requirements into production-grade technical solutions.
- Contribute to and maintain FDE developer tooling, SDKs, runbooks, technical documentation, and the FDE Protocol Requests database.
- Respond to partner security assessments and technical diligence requests.
- Identify reusable patterns from partner engagements and drive their abstraction into shared FDE artifacts.
- Represent FDE externally, mentor teammates, and assume primary ownership of named partners as ramp completes.
Requirements
- Hands-on depth across the Avalanche or comparable L1/L2 stack, including client implementation, EVM, cross-chain messaging, and validator infrastructure.
- Ability to design and ship solutions across the stack without senior backup.
- Proven ability to use modern coding assistants and agentic tooling to produce production-grade output.
- Customer-facing maturity in enterprise or institutional settings and comfort engaging senior engineering stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and operational discipline, including building runbooks and maintaining tracked partner artifacts.
- Instinct for abstracting bespoke solutions into reusable products or tooling.
