Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services for podcast content ingestion and management.
- Own and operate high-availability systems for reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with SREs, backend engineers, and cross-functional partners.
- Build and maintain integrations for podcast distribution APIs.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and automation.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the platform with AI-powered solutions.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining backend services in production.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby or Java; experience with Node.js is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, including schema design.
- Familiarity with high-availability systems and incident response.
- Commitment to engineering best practices and well-documented systems.
- Enjoyment of collaboration and understanding real-world problems.
- Curiosity about AI-powered approaches to improve workflows.
