Responsibilities
- Write and maintain high-quality, readable, and well-tested code for on-device and server-side content safety applications.
- Develop and test validation gates, routing logic, and tool-use schemas for deterministic and compliant execution in autonomous safety agent pipelines.
- Implement and maintain stateless and stateful agentic flows that interact with APIs, databases, and external tools.
- Deliver robust and performant solutions to user protection challenges.
- Collaborate with mentors and executive engineers on development processes, design patterns, and system architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- At least 1 year of experience implementing core machine learning concepts.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: academic, internship, or personal project experience integrating generative AI APIs and foundation model endpoints into software applications.
- Preferred: familiarity with agentic workflows, prompt chaining, model tool-use or function calling, and foundation model integrations with APIs or databases.
- Preferred: familiarity with or interest in machine learning, NLP, or LLMs.
- Preferred: interest or coursework in Responsible AI, data privacy, product policy, or related safety fields.
- Preferred: strong communication, proactive learning, and collaboration skills.
