Responsibilities
- Write secure, maintainable, high-quality software.
- Contribute to all phases of software development from design through rollout.
- Develop solutions for Mastercard clients and real-world business needs.
- Use defensive coding, logging, alerts, automated tests, and debugging techniques to help ensure software correctness and reliability.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected security violations, and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or accelerated master’s program and graduate between December 2026 and July 2027.
- Have project-based experience from personal, academic, or internship work using one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
- Have familiarity with relational databases, NoSQL data stores, source control, deployment, task management tools, automated testing, and common debugging techniques.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to start on July 19, 2027, with the designated start date not negotiable.
- Possess full working rights and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
