Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and accelerate scalable, production-ready AI and machine learning solutions for AMD’s AI product portfolio.
- Implement, train, fine-tune, benchmark, and deploy machine learning models on hardware and cloud environments.
- Develop machine learning reference solutions, demonstrations, and application software that show end-to-end customer value.
- Provide production runtime serving for machine learning applications and integrate emerging AI capabilities into the solutions roadmap.
- Collaborate with technical, business, engineering, applications, marketing, and business unit stakeholders.
- Engage Tier 1 customers and support custom applications based on AMD reference solutions.
- Analyze emerging AI trends and advise AMD product and technical teams.
- Publish software and collaborate with open-source communities, industry partners, and standards bodies.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related equivalent field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning architectures, models, and industry developer tools.
- Prior experience developing production software solutions and using CI/CD methods.
- Experience implementing and training machine learning models, including fine-tuning and deployment on hardware systems.
- Experience with production runtime serving of machine learning applications.
- Proficiency developing in Python, C, and C++, including deployment in Jupyter notebooks.
- Experience integrating and developing demonstration or application software.
- Experience benchmarking solutions on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Preferred experience with foundational model architecture, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, multimodal applications, ASR/TTS, and image generation.
- Preferred full-stack software experience, technical publications, industry standards collaboration, open-source publishing, and Perl/Python/C++ test automation.
