Base Salary
$182k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build the core agentic infrastructure at Tensec.
- Build, ship, and operate agents that automate financial workflows.
- Ship product features end to end, serving both internal and external customers.
- Drive build versus buy decisions on third-party components.
- Build evaluation and monitoring systems for agent reliability.
- Implement routing logic for large language model usage.
- Contribute to engineering standards and technical growth of the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with agentic systems or large language model workflows.
- Strong product sense and understanding of business needs.
- Fundamentals in APIs, distributed systems, databases, and cloud-native architecture.
- Ability to own ambiguous problems and iterate without hand-holding.
- Experience in an early-stage startup environment.
- Proficiency in Node.js or Python, and familiarity with AWS and CI/CD tooling.
- Interest in regulated industries with a focus on correctness and compliance.
