Responsibilities

  • Design and build ABAP Cloud applications embedding LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes.
  • Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using RAP, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Integrate LLMs, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise APIs with ABAP Cloud services.
  • Build agentic workflows with tools, planners, memory, orchestration, and evaluation loops.
  • Develop retrieval pipelines using SAP and non-SAP data sources, including business objects, CDS views, documents, and events.
  • Implement chunking, indexing, embeddings, context assembly, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, telemetry, logging, and failure analysis.
  • Prototype AI solutions rapidly and transition them into scalable, secure, compliant SAP production systems.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience.
  • 15 years of full-time education.
  • Required expertise in SAP ABAP Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications.
  • Experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD.
  • Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions.
  • Knowledge of RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles.
  • Preferred familiarity with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, cloud services, agent frameworks, vector databases, search, semantic indexing, enterprise security, authorization, and compliance patterns.
