Responsibilities
- Own and contribute to embedded software architecture and detailed design.
- Design and contribute to feature development, debugging, and defect resolution using C++.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Mentor engineers in modern C++, embedded systems, debugging, and profiling.
- Remove technical roadblocks, clarify priorities, and drive effective execution.
- Ensure proper defect management and release discipline.
- Collaborate with systems, controls, sensors, hardware, product management, and global leadership teams.
- Work with geographically dispersed teams to drive improvements.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on C++ experience for embedded development.
- Development experience with Embedded Linux.
- Understanding of embedded systems, concurrency, and performance.
- Experience with design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with GNSS, IMU, laser, optical, and other sensor or positioning technologies.
- Strong Git and modern software-practice experience.
- Exposure to Angular and TypeScript is nice to have.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field.
- 10–14+ years of software development experience, including 1–2 years leading a small or medium-sized team.
