Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain services handling real financial transactions.
- Co-own service architecture, resilience, and scalability using Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Lead technical design discussions, anticipate risks, and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Improve engineering processes by addressing flaky CI, running post-mortems, and sharing learnings.
- Write tests, set up monitoring, handle incidents methodically, and perform root cause analysis.
- Track post-release impact, identify regressions, and improve owned systems proactively.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with exposure to large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints.
- Ability to transfer quickly between technology stacks and work with similar backend technologies.
- Quality-driven approach to testing, monitoring, incident handling, and root cause analysis.
- Ownership mindset and ability to improve systems and processes independently.
- Ability to collaborate in squad teams with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend engineers, and Mobile engineers.
- Fluency in English.
