Base Salary
$194k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise applications for Morgan Stanley’s Finance division.
- Renovate and automate business processes supporting balance sheet production and global regulatory financial reporting.
- Maintain platforms used to collect and report balance sheet data, capital and liquidity ratios, and financial reports.
- Build and maintain proprietary and vendor-based applications processing large data volumes, performing financial calculations, and producing complex reports.
- Work across web-based front ends, Java-based server-side applications, databases, and cloud-based technologies.
- Contribute to AI initiatives using Snowflake Cortex and Talk to Your Data capabilities.
- Apply agile principles across the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the offered position or as a Principal Consultant, Manager, Software Engineer, or in a closely related occupation.
- Five years of experience with software development life cycle, data warehousing concepts and tools, ETL pipelines, DevOps, Jenkins, Microsoft SQL Server, Autosys, data analysis, data modelling, and business analysis.
- Three years of experience with Teradata, Snowflake, Scala, Python, Tableau, financial accounting, and system reliability engineering.
- Experience working with enterprise applications, databases, financial data, and regulatory reporting.
