Base Salary

$95k - $115k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement synchronous and asynchronous Request/Response, Pub/Sub, and Event Streaming integrations using AWS-native architecture.
  • Develop and test integrations with AWS services, Kafka, and iPaaS platforms such as Dell Boomi, Workato, and MuleSoft.
  • Build, deploy, and monitor AWS resources including EC2, Lambda, EKS, S3, Glue, and API Gateway.
  • Use CloudFormation, Terraform, and Terragrunt as infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Apply Generative AI technologies and AI-driven integration patterns, including LLM integrations through APIs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Preferred 1+ years of experience with integration projects involving SaaS and on-premise applications.
  • Preferred 1+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, EKS, and API Gateway.
  • Basic understanding or experience with a major middleware platform such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato.
  • Experience with Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Understanding of microservices, API design, ETL processes, and web services.
  • Deep knowledge of REST, SFTP, HTTPS, and SMTP protocols.
  • Basic understanding of Generative AI and integrating LLMs into applications through APIs such as Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI.
  • Understanding or experience with Airflow or AWS Step Functions for multi-step agent workflow orchestration, retries, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
  • Understanding or experience with GitLab version control and branching strategies in controlled, compliant environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Salary ranges from $95,400-$106,000 for Irvine-based applicants and $103,800-$115,300 for Palo Alto-based applicants, with potential annual performance bonus and equity awards.
  • Benefits may include paid vacation, paid sick leave, life, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance.
  • Eligible employees may participate in Rivian’s 401(k) Plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Full-time employee coverage is effective on the first day; part-time coverage begins the first of the month after 90 days, subject to eligibility.
