Responsibilities
- Architect and develop enterprise-grade services using Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Hibernate.
- Design and optimize highly available, high-throughput systems for file transfer and data processing.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration endpoints for enterprise customers.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and other security best practices.
- Contribute to React-based front-end development for administration and monitoring interfaces.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes to build and deploy cloud-native services.
- Translate product requirements into scalable technical designs with Product Management.
- Lead code reviews, drive continuous improvement, mentor junior engineers, and participate in technical strategy and roadmap discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software in Java/Spring ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud deployment.
- Deep understanding of SFTP, FTPS, or HTTPS secure protocols, or willingness to learn them.
- Experience with SQL and relational data modeling; NoSQL familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or an equivalent automated build, test, and deployment solution.
- Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with automated unit and integration test frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
