Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile sprint planning and align team priorities, deliverables, and project objectives.
- Mentor team members, provide technical leadership, remove roadblocks, and foster continuous improvement.
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications.
- Translate requirements into working software with systems engineering and program teams.
- Contribute to system design, technical decisions, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
- Integrate services with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code using CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Implement unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end automated testing strategies.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, and platform teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting microservices-based systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++ on Linux.
- Experience or exposure to AI/ML-enabled systems, automation, or intelligent platforms, including Claude-Code.
- Understanding of APIs and distributed system concepts.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust investigation.
- U.S. citizenship and successful completion of government-required background investigations.
- Preferred experience includes Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, SAFe, relational or NoSQL databases, Kafka or other event-streaming technologies, AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and automated test-suite integration.
