Responsibilities
- Support and implement reports, interfaces, data conversions, and enhancements in an Oracle R12 environment.
- Design and review strategies for converting legacy data to Oracle E Business Suite shared service applications.
- Develop using SQL, PL/SQL, R12 APIs, and web services.
- Map, design, build, test, and deploy data migration solutions.
- Support technical design for data conversions and extensions from legacy systems into standardized Oracle E Business Suite processes.
- Perform unit and system integration testing and document results.
- Develop test scripts, training materials, technical documents, data mappings, and related conversion documentation.
- Triage data migration defects and provide problem analysis, diagnosis, resolution, implementation, and post-implementation support.
- Prepare work tasks, duration estimates, and schedules.
- Provide knowledge transfer and support systems and users after the initial cutover to the shared service provider.
Requirements
- At least seven years of general software development experience, including specialized Oracle R12 application development focused on data conversions and application extensions.
- Experience with TOAD, PL/SQL, SQL, load scripts, UNIX scripts, Personalization, Interfaces, Workflow, XML Publisher, R12 APIs, and web service development.
- Experience with Oracle Discoverer, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle RDBMS, R12 APIs and web services, and Oracle Apex.
- Understanding of Oracle Applications table structures and APIs.
- Experience with configuration management, design and code documentation, unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Oracle Financials experience with AP, AR, CLM, GL/SLA, and FedAdmin is a plus.
- Experience with shared service providers, project implementation life cycles, and SOA web services is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of experience, or equivalent related experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, presentation, analytical, technical, and independent-working skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation and obtain access eligibility for classified information.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
