Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Design and implement APIs and backend services, including REST and/or GraphQL interfaces.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable, and performant code using appropriate design patterns and architecture practices.
  • Own solutions from inception through sunset as part of an Agile Scrum team, including testing automation and quality activities.
  • Participate in code reviews, Agile planning, grooming, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Create and update technical documentation such as specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
  • Translate customer and business needs into technical solutions and share knowledge with the team.
  • Work across the full stack when needed, particularly on user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 4–7 years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of .NET development experience and strong commercial experience with C# and the .NET stack.
  • Experience with .NET Core, .NET Web API, software development principles, design patterns, and version control using Bitbucket or Git.
  • Experience designing and implementing APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and familiarity with PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, or Cloud Bigtable.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, cloud environments, unit testing, web services, serialization, and object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of LINQ, generics, lambda expressions, extension methods, attributes, XML, JSON, SOAP, WCF, REST, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • React or Angular experience is a plus, as is full-stack development experience with user-facing features.
  • Supply-chain domain knowledge and familiarity with EDI standards and processes are nice to have.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, adaptability, and independent learning skills.
