Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement and maintain scalable microservices architectures.
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces with React.
- Integrate AWS managed services and optimize application resilience, cost, and security.
- Improve service performance through data-access optimization, caching, and profiling.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs with product owners and stakeholders.
- Define test strategies, support automated testing, and resolve defects.
- Apply secure coding practices covering authentication, authorization, data protection, and input validation.
- Improve continuous integration, delivery pipelines, build processes, and deployment workflows.
- Review code, mentor less experienced engineers, and share technical knowledge.
- Document solution designs, service contracts, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate effectively in a hybrid work model.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience building production-grade backend systems with Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, including configuration, dependency injection, security, and data or messaging integration.
- Experience with React component design, state management, and backend API integration.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices using RESTful or event-driven communication patterns.
- Working knowledge of AWS compute, storage, networking, and monitoring services.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including schema and query design.
- Working knowledge of source control, build automation, and continuous integration tools.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively with technical and nontechnical partners.
