Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using IBM mainframe and allied technologies.
- Design and implement business requirements in collaboration with architects, product owners, and developers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to testing automation, quality activities, documentation, and end-to-end solution ownership.
- Participate in Agile Scrum planning, grooming, demonstrations, retrospectives, and team collaboration.
- Translate customer and business needs into technical solutions and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of software application development experience.
- Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and CICS across requirements, analysis, development, and deployment.
- Experience or understanding of automated testing, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud environments, especially GCP.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Jira, Confluence, DevOps tools, and Agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, prioritization, and learning skills.
- Production support experience for mainframe batch systems is an advantage.
- Supply chain domain knowledge and familiarity with EDI standards and processes are preferred.
